DIY: Button Monograms

This is another way you could make use of buttons, just like my DIY Button Table Numbers tutorial. Follow all of the same steps, but trace a letter instead of a number!

Happy February! Can you believe it's February already?

Knitting: New + Easier Yarn Poms

Here is a MUCH easier way to do your yarn poms rather than the circle template technique - I wish I'd have figured this out ages ago! Happy pom'ing!

Weddings: Traditions

Source: google.ca via Mary on Pinterest

Good morning my lovelies, and happy Monday! I came across this image on Pinterest the other day and I absolutely love the idea of branding your love at your ceremony! Not to mention it's perfect for those of us that want a little bit of country in our weddings (uh, ME!) or those that want something a little different than other traditions.

Friday Etsy Picks: Flower Crowns

Forest Lore Natural Vine Crown
{ via Which Goose }

Lately I haven't been able to take my mind off of floral headpieces and crowns. This piece is totally dreamy and would make an incredible veil-replacement or a statement piece for a fun outdoor event. The other neat part about this gorgeous crown is that it ties in the back with ribbons for a very custom fit.

This lovely crown was made from hand dyed silk and linen to create the flowers. This crown reminds me of something that one of the girls from a Jane Austen novel might wear to a ball.

For a simple bohemian look this halo headband is the way to go with its dainty flowers and twig-inspired wire. This halo is also customizable to fit your head to be sure that you're looking lovely all day long.

Have a great weekend!

Inspiration: Snowed In

Well, my darlings, Roy and I are snowed in at my house! We got two inches in the morning yesterday and last night it looked like a blizzard around midnight - I couldn't even see the street light at the end of the road! This morning everything was covered in at least a foot of snow. I shoveled for two hours and now my arms are like noodles, but Roy and I are going to go back out and see what magic shots we can find in the snow. There may also be a very large snowman involved.

Stay warm and save!
